exploring starkville's parks and museums just steps away
We loved being a short stroll away from Chadwick Lake, which was perfect for a scenic walk, and just a bit further to the Dunn-Seiler Geology Museum, where we learned so much about local geology. the staff was super friendly, making our family feel welcomed during our stay.

Clean sheets were a highlight during our stay, but that was about it. The breakfast options were very limited on both days, with no attendant present. We struggled to find coffee cups and the front desk staff didn’t seem eager to assist us. Conveniently located near the highway and close to Mississippi State. the helpful morning desk clerk was a saving grace when we checked out early.

Family with kids can enjoy it here
Breakfast was a nice surprise for us. They had it ready before official time, so we could eat and run for our soccer game, thanks to the staff. The beds were super comfortable, felt like sleeping on clouds.
It wasn't the cheapest place around but still a fair choice.

We enjoyed a super fun night of bowling and games at Bulldog Lanes. The hotel was conveniently located, making it easy for us to explore the area and unwind after our adventures. Make sure to check out the comfy beds and friendly service during your stay!
One downside was the internet, which was advertised as high speed but didn't work well during our stay. This made it tricky when we wanted to check some last-minute plans online.

During my stay, I found the atmosphere to be welcoming, and the elevators and hallways were spacious, which made it easy to navigate. The staff were very attentive and helpful, ensuring I had a comfortable experience. However, I did notice that the Wi-Fi connection could be more reliable, which was a bit frustrating at times.

Great location near the university. Room had a weird smell initially.

Our stay at Microtel was a mixed bag, but the light snacks at breakfast definitely fueled my foodie adventures! Plus, the beds had crisp clean sheets, making it cozy for a night of rest. Not to mention, the overall vibe of Starkville just oozes charm and hospitality, drawing me back for more culinary explorations.
However, I was turned off by the overall lack of cleanliness — the rooms and hallways needed some serious TLC. Couldn’t even extend my stay due to a booked-up situation, which led me to find a cooler spot elsewhere.

missingWrote a review on Apr 02good locationbreakfast varietygym areapoor wi-fi
Good location near the campus makes it easy to explore the area. The breakfast included a variety of options like cereal, eggs, and a waffle maker, allowing for some quick meals without leaving the hotel. The gym area also provides a nice spot for a brief workout.
The signage for the breakfast area was confusing, leading to a bit of a hassle on my first morning. Some mornings, the breakfast items were low on variety and freshness, specifically the undercooked potatoes and malfunctioning waffle maker. The Wi-Fi connection struggled to keep up, which may be an annoyance for anyone needing reliable internet access. Lastly, the pool area looked less than appealing, with a greenish hue that steered me clear of taking a dip.
